Play underpins all development and learning in young children and is at the heart of what we do. We are a nurturing setting with a strong foundation in the importance of attachment , playing and spending lots of time outdoors & ensuring that each child is treated as an individual.
Our approach ensures we involve and value everyone, children, staff, parents & grandparents. We provide a high quality setting for the children in our care, which enables them to grow, thrive and thoroughly enjoy their time with us in a safe and engaging environment both indoors and out.
Our picturesque location provides us with access to the great outdoors for play & learning throughout the seasons.
From jumping in muddy puddles to gardening, painting & baking, we offer a safe space for imagination to bloom.
Parents can access 2-4 year old funded entitlements and tax-free childcare for under 2s. We accept a wide range of voucher schemes.
We are a graduate led setting with all of our staff holding Level 3 Early Years qualifications.
We were over the moon to win the Childminding Business of the Year award, sponsored by Childcare.co.uk, at the Nursery World Awards. The event was held on 29th September 2023 at The Brewery, London.
One judge commented that Cheeky Cherubs was a “lovely, homely, rural setting where children are listened to, respected and thrive”. We couldn’t be happier or prouder of our team and the amazing children we get to spend our days with, and we are truly grateful for this recognition.
We have chickens, ducks, cows, a farm dog & cat – plus a house rabbit called Bluebell! We’re hoping to add two pigs to our list too!
In Farm Grandma’s allotment, we grow pumpkins, squash, carrots and beetroot, and eat home-grown raspberries!
We love to bake with all of the children, from yummy cookies to our beloved lemon cake recipe. The perfect treat after play!
From jumping in muddy puddles to digging making mud pies in our special mud kitchen, we love creative and imaginative play!
We love painting and creating amazing masterpieces, either in our two large playrooms or outside in nature!
We have two large outdoor play areas with trees, sandpits, vegetable beds, a willow tunnel and lots of exciting areas to explore!
